One of Emmett's biggest goals and desires of 2009 was to be 5. Four was, in his little mind, not quite big enough for just about anything he wanted to do. His long term goal is 10- well actually to be bigger and older than Andrew, but for the short term, 5 would suffice.
Good news! He made it! December 23 2009 Emmett reached his fondest dream and turned 5!!! Good friends Parker, Blake and Ian came to help celebrate. It was hard to believe but Alvin and the Chipmonk "Squeakuel" was sold out for the first showing so we headed over to McDonalds for a rompus good time then back to the theater for one of the top 10 worst movies Clint and I had ever seen. However the boys loved it. It was a great day- 75 degrees in December- perfect for jumping, playing, and icecream cake.
